OLD SALTLEIANS GET SEAL OF APPROVAL    SALT0155

Old Saltleians were presented with the prestigious RFU Seal of Approval before their Powergen Junior Vase second round tie against Stourbridge Lions at their Watton Lane headquarters in Water Orton on Saturday October 15 2005.

The award is a major landmark for the club and recognises the hard work that has gone into the continued development of a community-based rugby club.

The RFU Community Rugby Active Sports Seal of Approval and the Sport England Club mark accreditation scheme are based upon a three-year award system in which a club will be assessed on its ability to provide a safe, effective, child-friendly club environment.

The Award is indicative of the quality of provision a club offers, and its commitment to the continued development of young rugby players. A club will receive certification to confirm accreditation, both from Community Rugby and Sport England.
The Seal of Approval certificate was presented to Old Saltleians by Colin Major, chairman of the North Midlands Rugby Development Partnership
